Water Quality

Through monitoring and various studies, the PGST Natural Resources Department keeps track of water quality standards throughout the Reservation and in the Tribe’s U&A. The Tribe’s water uses are unique as they align with long-established Treaty Rights. As a part of the monitoring, wetlands in the Tribe’s U&A are regularly assessed to identify areas in need of protection, whether because of vulnerability or cultural importance to the Tribe.
